Book toilet installation

Step 1 of 2

We check the closet flange first. Cracked, corroded, or below-floor flanges get repaired or shimmed before the new toilet goes in. Flange height is the single most common cause of toilet leaks, and the failures don’t show up for months, so we treat getting it right as the whole job. Every install gets a new wax ring or rubber gasket and a new braided stainless supply line. We torque the bolts evenly to spec; overtightening cracks porcelain at the base. We run a full flush cycle to leak-test the base, tank, and supply line before we leave the bathroom.

Most toilet installs are 60 to 90 minutes on site. A standard swap-out runs $250–$400 including supply line and wax ring. Flange repair adds $80–$200 when the existing flange is cracked or sitting below the finished floor, quoted before any work starts.

  • 03 New wax ring or rubber gasket on every install

Process

How a project goes

  1. 01

    Confirm

Send a photo of the existing toilet, the supply line and the floor flange (we'll show you where to look). We'll confirm what's needed before the visit.

  2. 02

    Remove

Water off, tank drained, bolts removed, old toilet out and on a drop cloth.

  3. 03

    Inspect flange

Closet flange is checked for cracks, corrosion and height relative to the finished floor. Repaired or shimmed if it's sitting below the floor surface, this is the single most common cause of toilet leaks.

  4. 04

    Install

New wax ring or rubber gasket. New braided stainless supply line. Toilet seated, bolts torqued evenly to spec, never overtightened.

  5. 05

    Test

Water on, full flush cycle run. Base, tank, supply line and flush valve all leak-checked. Caulk applied at the base where required by code.

What you get on every job

License, warranty, written quote. Three things you can hold us to.

Licensed and insured

Three-month warranty on every job

If the same issue comes back inside three months (same drain, same fixture, same valve), the return visit is included. In writing on every invoice.

Quote in writing before any work starts

Every job is quoted in writing, with parts and labour itemized, before any work begins. The number you agree to is the number on the invoice.

Questions customers ask about toilet installation

  1. 01 How much does a service call cost?

A standard residential service call runs $250–$350, which covers the visit and a one- to two-hour repair. Larger work — camera-follow-up drain cleaning, multi-fixture installs, leak repair behind drywall — is quoted on site before any work starts, so the number you agree to is the number on the invoice.

  2. 02 Do you warranty the work?

Yes, three months on every job, residential and commercial. If the same issue comes back inside that window, the return visit is included at no charge. The policy is written on the invoice, applied without argument, and the same on a small repair as it is on a major project.

  3. 03 How soon can you come out?

Most service calls book within two to three business days. Urgent calls (active leak, no working toilet in a single-bathroom home, no hot water) get same-day or next-morning slots when we can route to you. Either way, expect a callback within one business day so we can confirm the time directly.
