FAQ
Frequently asked questions.
Pricing
-
01 How much does a service call cost?
A standard residential service call runs $250–$350, which covers the visit and a one- to two-hour repair. Larger work — camera-follow-up drain cleaning, multi-fixture installs, leak repair behind drywall — is quoted on site before any work starts, so the number you agree to is the number on the invoice.
-
02 Do you charge for the quote?
No. We quote every job in writing before any work starts, either by phone for standard installs and repairs, or on site for larger residential and commercial projects where we need to see the line, fixture, or wet area first. There's no charge to walk through the work and get a number, and if you decide not to move forward, you owe nothing for the visit.
Process
-
01 Will the problem be fixed in one visit?
Most repairs finish on the first visit. We carry the common parts on the truck — supply lines, shut-offs, faucet cartridges, toilet flappers and fill valves, wax rings — so drain cleaning, leak repairs, and fixture replacements are usually one-and-done. When a job calls for a specific part we don't stock, we source it and return on a scheduled visit at no additional trip charge.
-
02 Will you try to upsell me on things I don't need?
No. Our means if something is fine, we tell you it's fine. If something is at end of life and worth flagging — a seized shut-off, an aging supply line — we give you the recommendation and the price, and the decision to do it now or later is yours. The decision to do it now or later is yours.
Warranty
-
01 Do you warranty the work?
Yes, three months on every job, residential and commercial. If the same issue comes back inside that window, the return visit is included at no charge. The policy is written on the invoice, applied without argument, and the same on a small repair as it is on a major project.
-
02 What's not covered by the warranty?
The three-month warranty covers the repair we performed — same drain, same fixture, same valve. It doesn't cover a different problem on a different fixture, damage caused by something unrelated to our work, or work already in place that was done by someone else. anything borderline gets a straight conversation before any charge — that's how we keep the relationship.
Licensing & insurance
-
01 Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — licensed Ontario plumber, carrying liability insurance. Both documents are shown before the work starts on request, and the licence number is on every invoice. With we and a, licensing and insurance are baseline — not a feature to advertise, just the standard we work to on every residential, commercial, and emergency call.
Timing
-
01 How soon can you come out?
Most service calls book within two to three business days. Urgent calls (active leak, no working toilet in a single-bathroom home, no hot water) get same-day or next-morning slots when we can route to you. Either way, expect a callback within one business day so we can confirm the time directly.
Areas served
-
01 What areas do you cover?
We serve Toronto and the GTA — residential and commercial — with primary coverage across Richmond Hill, North York, Toronto, Vaughan, and Markham, and extended coverage into Thornhill, Aurora, and Newmarket. For larger projects, we travel further into the GTA as needed.
