Book drain cleaning

Step 1 of 2

We size the auger to the pipe and work from the closest cleanout, whether that’s a kitchen branch, a bathroom branch, the main building drain, or a stack. Chemical drain cleaners stay off the truck; they soften pipe walls without fixing the actual blockage, and they make any later mechanical work harder. We verify the clear by running water at full flow before calling the job complete, and on recurring drains we follow up with a camera inspection so you know whether you’re dealing with grease, roots, or a structural pipe issue.

Most residential drain calls take one to two hours on site. A standard kitchen or bathroom branch line runs $200–$350. Main drain or stack work, or anything that needs camera follow-up to find a recurring cause, runs higher and is quoted before any work starts.

Process

How a project goes

  1. 01

    Call

Tell us which drain, how long it's been slow, and whether it's the first time or a repeat.

  2. 02

    Visit

We arrive with auger, camera and shop vac. Floor and surrounding fixtures get covered before any work starts.

  3. 03

    Clear

Mechanical snake first. We never start with chemicals, they damage pipes and rarely fix the actual blockage.

  4. 04

    Verify

Run water and watch the line drain at full flow before we say it's clear. If it's a recurring drain, we'll camera-check it.

  5. 05

    Warranty

Three-month warranty on the clear. If the same drain backs up in that window, we come back at no charge.

What you get on every job

Licensed and insured

Licensed Ontario plumber, liability insurance, and WSIB coverage. License number on every invoice, both documents available on request.

Three-month warranty on every job

If the same issue comes back inside three months (same drain, same fixture, same valve), the return visit is included. In writing on every invoice.

Quote in writing before any work starts

Questions customers ask about drain cleaning

  1. 01 How much does a service call cost?

A standard residential service call runs $250–$350, which covers the visit and a one- to two-hour repair. Larger work — camera-follow-up drain cleaning, multi-fixture installs, leak repair behind drywall — is quoted on site before any work starts, so the number you agree to is the number on the invoice.

  2. 02 Do you warranty the work?

Yes, three months on every job, residential and commercial. If the same issue comes back inside that window, the return visit is included at no charge. The policy is written on the invoice, applied without argument, and the same on a small repair as it is on a major project.

  3. 03 How soon can you come out?

Most service calls book within two to three business days. Urgent calls (active leak, no working toilet in a single-bathroom home, no hot water) get same-day or next-morning slots when we can route to you. Either way, expect a callback within one business day so we can confirm the time directly.

  4. 04 Are you licensed and insured?

Yes — licensed Ontario plumber, carrying liability insurance. Both documents are shown before the work starts on request, and the licence number is on every invoice. With we and a, licensing and insurance are baseline — not a feature to advertise, just the standard we work to on every residential, commercial, and emergency call.
