EFS Plumbing provides leak repair for residential and commercial properties across Toronto and the GTA — including emergency plumbing solutions for active leaks. We locate the source first using a moisture meter, thermal camera, or acoustic detector, then open only what’s needed to reach the line. Repairs are done with proper slip couplings, re-solder, or section replacement — not emergency clamps left in place. Every repair is pressure-tested before drywall is closed back up, and we can provide insurance-claim-grade documentation when needed.
Most leak repairs are one to three hours on site. A standard visible-leak repair runs $300–$500. Hidden leaks requiring detection, or repairs that turn into a small re-pipe section, run $450–$1,200 depending on access — all quoted before work starts.

How a project goes
- 01
Stop the loss
First call — we'll walk you through finding the main shut-off and getting water off. That happens before anything else.

Locate
On site, we use a moisture meter, thermal camera or acoustic detector depending on whether it's a slow ceiling stain, an active drip, or a hidden line.
- 03
Open
Minimal-access cut — we open the smallest amount of wall or ceiling that gets us to the leak. The patch is easier when there's less to patch.
- 04
Repair
Pinhole or split line repaired with proper sleeve, re-solder or section replacement. Shut-off valves replaced if they were involved.
- 05
Test
Line pressure-tested and watched for at least fifteen minutes before we close it back up. Three-month warranty on the repair.

01 How much does a service call cost?
A standard residential service call runs $250–$350, which covers the visit and a one- to two-hour repair. Larger work — camera-follow-up drain cleaning, multi-fixture installs, leak repair behind drywall — is quoted on site before any work starts, so the number you agree to is the number on the invoice.

02 Do you warranty the work?
Yes — three months on every job, residential and commercial. If the same issue comes back inside that window, the return visit is included at no charge. The policy is written on the invoice, applied without argument, and the same on a small repair as it is on a major project.

Most service calls book within two to three business days. Urgent calls — active leak, no working toilet in a single-bathroom home, no hot water — fall under our emergency plumbing solutions and get same-day or next-morning slots whenever we can route to you.
